Many use our USDA organic certified products while pregnant but it is always best to consult with your doctor.
It is important to do a patch test before using any topical product. To do this, rub a dime-sized amount on to the inside of your forearm. If you don’t experience any irritation or inflammation within 24 hours, it should be safe to use elsewhere.
*It is recommended to perform a patch test before using any new topical product.
The quicker you use the product, the fresher they are. We recommend you use your product(s) within 6-12 months of purchase to ensure optimal freshness. The products are still effective, they just may lose their fresh scent. We suggest keeping products in a cool, dry environment and away from direct sunlight.
We love animals too! ELLA i SKiN products are not tested on animals and never will be. We are 100% cruelty free.

ELLA i SKiN was developed to find the sweet spot between organic beauty and effectiveness of medical grade skincare. ELLA i SKiN provides the best of both worlds, with concentrations of pure, active nutrients combined with the powerful concentrations of medical-like ingredients to deliver a powerhouse of skincare products.
Research has shown that medical-like ingredients should be used to optimize skincare benefits. These key ingredients have been heavily scrutinized to support effectiveness claims. Measures have been taken so products can penetrate the deeper level of our skin & not just sit on the surface. Medical-like products are not generally offered in drug stores. and are usually very costly. Unfortunately, they also often contain heavy perfumes and toxic fillers.
Drug store brands can often keep their cost down by using synthetic fillers and harmful emollients. Take a peek at the labels of skincare products that you have purchased from drug stores. It might surprise… and scare you!
ELLA i SKiN does not use harmful fillers or fragrances in products. We only use the most effective ingredients that directly benefit skin, such as extracts, vitamins and stem cells. A little goes a long way so you can use less, which is great for your pocketbook!
Everyone has favourite products and some they do not want to part with. That’s okay, do what you can. Start slow and read labels. Once you start noticing the amazing results & getting compliments on your skin from adding ELLA i SKiN to your skincare regime the choices will become easier. It will become clear to you when you see how your body & skin respond to clean ingredients.

Oasis Collection is also naturally sourced. Organic ingredients have been blended with advanced treatment ingredients. The Oasis Collection was created to complement your current skincare routine with regular professional at-home treatments.
Absolutely! Depending on your skin’s needs, you can mix and match.
As a rule of thumb, layer serums from lightest to heaviest consistency.
Vitamin C serum should be first, followed by others (hyaluronic acid, peptides, other antioxidants, etc). Vitamin C is a highly water soluble molecule so you want your skin to be clear of products to ensure it penetrates deeply while the product is active.
Pro Tip: Make sure when applying serum to face, to take the product down your neck, chest and hands. You want your face to be healthy and youthful for years to come but don’t forget other spots too!
Antioxidant serums are highly concentrated products that deliver powerful, active ingredients into deep layers of the skin to repair damage, discolouration, fine lines & wrinkles.
Did you know that a quality antioxidant serum can boost your SPF? SPF is a must when it comes to antiaging but isn’t enough to completely protect skin from sun damage. New research is showing that infrared radiation can possibly be more damaging on skin tissue than UV rays. Experts suggest applying an organic antioxidant before applying SPF for the best defense against photo-aging effects of the sun.
Antioxidants are known as “free radical scavengers” and nature’s weapon against aging. Antioxidants neutralize free radicals to slow the appearance of aging and reduce the likelihood of skin cancer.
As a rule of thumb, antioxidant serums should be applied in the morning to give skin additional protection from UV rays and other environmental aggressors that cause skin damage.

Dry skin is a skin type. Dehydrated skin is a skin condition.
Dry skin is a lack of oils and is a permanent skin type you are born with. There are five skin types: normal, oily, dry, combination and sensitive.
Dry skin absorbs moisturizers fairly quickly. Skin generally feels dry and appears flaky, irritated and sometimes leathery. Skin can also tend to be dry on scalp and hands.
Avoid foaming cleansers and other products that might strip skin’s natural oils.
Best ingredients for dry skin: Shea butter, plant butters, Jojoba oil, hyaluronic acid
Might we suggest:
Dehydrated skin is a lack of water. Skin is experiencing moisture loss due to the lack of water in the top layer of skin, the stratum corneum. Generally, this is a temporary condition due to factors like the environment, season changes and diet. Skin appears flat and lifeless, feels tight and itchy. Dehydrated skin can often experience breakouts.
Making healthy lifestyle choices, wearing sun protection and using appropriate skincare products can reduce skin dehydration.
Best ingredients for dehydrated skin: Hyaluronic acid, Glycerin, Aloe, Lactic Acid
Might we suggest:
Oily or acne-prone skin can sometimes suffer from dehydration due to washing face too often and/or using harsh acne products which tend to irritate and strip skin of moisture.
Dehydrated & Oily skin Connection
When skin becomes dehydrated it creates more sebum which leads to acne breakouts. By applying more drying skincare products your skin becomes more dehydrated and the cycle continues.
Using the correct products is essential for dehydrated skin to drastically change skin so it is less oily. Use high quality, gentle products can nourish and rebalance skin. It’s important to keep skin balanced to keep blemishes at bay.
ELLA i SKiN created skincare products with sensitive skin in mind. However, it is important to get to know your skin and understand what triggers the sensitivity. The more familiar you become with your skin’s reaction to different ingredients, the better you will be at selecting skincare products that work.
ELLA i SKiN has listed all ingredients on each product label so you know what ingredients are being used.
Specifically for sensitive skin:
DAILY FIX is infused with powerful blend of sea-buckthorn and sunflower to help reduce redness and calm skin.

The term “ph” stands for pondus hydrogenii, which is latin for “quantity of hydrogen.” Skin’s hydrogen ratio is calculated on a scale of 1 to 14, with 1 being the most acidic and 14 the most alkaline. Water has a pH of 7, which is considered neutral.
Skin’s ideal pH is between 5-6, which is slightly acidic. Skin has optimal barrier function when it’s within the appropriate pH level. Skin’s “acid mantle” is the slightly acidic film of sebum, skin cells, oil glands and lipids that protects skin from contaminants, bacteria and the growth of pathogens.
Even water, with a pH of 7, can raise skin’s pH levels. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to how you treat skin and what you put on it.
Acidic pH: Skin can become oily, irritated and more sensitive. This is common with DIY cleansers or solutions with lemon juice.
Tell: redness, acne, itchy, blemishes, skin feels irritated and greasy
Alkaline pH: Damages the microflora of the skin, increasing the risk for skin issues and decreased defense against bacteria. Higher alkalinity strips hydration, depletes natural skin lipids and can promote skin disorders, like psoriasis and eczema. It is not unable to fend off enzymes that cause wrinkles and destroy collagen.
Tell: Skin feels dry, tight and/or dull in appearance
Recommended to select cleansers at a physiological pH between 4.5-6.5
